Tiana’s war in Norfolk
The Senyan Military has been called to ‘Standby’ after the nearby Kingdom of Sakasaria declared war on Senya’s ally the Republic of Tiana.
The war was declared after Sakasarian leader John Gordon was offended by comments left by Joseph Puglisi of Tiana. In a personal messagge to President Hands, Mr. Gordon stated ‘We have no other choice but to declare war on Tiana’. This could cause a threat to Senyan security, if Sakasaria attack Senya. President Hands has tried to maintain peace by stating “Tiana will not be allowed to store weapons, Tanks, or the like in Senya. We are taking neutrality in this war. There is no need for it, but we can see potential dangers, with Sakasaria ‘within reach’ of us. Senya has called for a conference with both leaders, but both are yet to reply.
This decision has come despite a treaty with Tiana signed back in January stating that if either nation were to enter combat, the other would have to attack. “We have decided not to attack for a few reasons” said President Hands in a statement today. “We are on good terms with Sakasria. For example, I was invited to be interviewed with their leader for a Radio show on Wednesday, and they have recently expressed interest in joining the Friends Alliance.”
Tiana have stated that this war is not of a serious matter, but due to the nature of Senya’s geography, it could spell disaster for Senya.
